State of Utah awards new enterprise contract to NICs Utah Interactive

With this contract, Utah Interactive would focus on providing consistent digital federal services.

The state of Utah has recently awarded Utah Interactive LLC, a subsidiary of government digital service provider NIC Inc., with a new enterprise contract to provide state digital government solutions. As per sources close to the matter, the award is for 4 years initially & includes two 3-year renewal options. Moreover, the long-standing commitment of Utah Interactive has aided it to keep working alongside the state for improving the government efficiency and experience.

For the record, Utah Interactive works with the state agencies of Utah to deliver services that specifically focus on aiding residents & businesses to interact with the state government easily & conveniently. Utah Interactive solutions include online vehicle registration on the spot as well as renewal express, and also the state construction registry.

Harry Herington, Chairman of the Board and CEO, NIC, was reportedly quoted saying that the company is looking forward to continuing its partnership with the state of Utah. He claims that company’s 20-years of collaboration has resulted in some of the most innovative government services in Utah.

Adding further, he said that Utah is a unique example of best-in-class digital government solutions that are making a difference in lives of the masses by creating efficiency and convenience.

As per sources, Utah has not only been consistently rated as one of the best places to live, but also the best managed state and the best state for business. Moreover, the state is committed to provide first class experience of the government to its residents.

Reportedly, every year Utah is recognized to have a leading digital government presence in the nation, winning 235 awards since 1999. Utah has also been acknowledged as the state winner and is the only back-to-back recipient of the Digital Government Experience Awards for last two years.
