Upflowy aims for business expansion in U.S. market with $4Mn funding

The software company aims to transform its visitors into customers with optimized web experiences

French drag and drop tool developer, Upflowy has reportedly raised $4 million in funding, taking its valuation above $5 million.

The latest funding round led by San Francisco’s venture capital fund -Counterpart Ventures was the VC fund’s first deal inked in Australia since its inception in 2018.

With the fresh capital influx, Upflowy will sustain fast-paced growth followed by expansion of business in the U.S.

As a part of the deal, Counterpart will lend its expertise in B2B SaaS (Software as a Service) products, which will drive customer acquisition for Upflowy.

Speculations have it that the oversubscribed funding round remarkably drew attention from all over the world, witnessing the return of all pre-seed investors including Black Nova, Global Founders Capital, Antler and Tidal.

Considering the substantial response, Upflowy will strengthen and expand its Australian and U.S. teams to meet the surging demand from a consistently widening customer base.

Patrick Eggen, Co-founder and General Partner at Counterpart Ventures, renounced the current need of modern organizations for zero-complexity, no-code solutions, which can eliminate friction occurring between data collection and customer experience.

According to Eggen, the existing market is stacked with gawky solutions that depend on engineers for developing web experiences, which hampers scope for testing and improvement.

The recent funding makes sense for both parties, since Upflowy is uniquely positioned to reassess their market goals, allowing teams to design web experiences based on consumer needs and demands.

As of now, Upflowy fosters innovations associated with building on-boarding flows and engaging sign-up. It also encourages efforts to optimize sales lead funnels to solidify the foundation platform for enhancing conversion rates.
